Tea Party! 8/21/10

It's very unfortunate to say that the Alice in Wonderland photoshoot is postponed til August 21, 2010 for a few reasons. The friend of mine playing Cheshire Cat (Anthony) could'nt make it the day of the shoot. And the main reason being, I was'nt 100% ready for this shoot. I still need alot of props, ideas, and help. I guess you can say I rushed into this shoot. I was forcing myself not to push the date back but I think in the end it will be for the best. I was about 90% ready but I'd rather be 100% ready and make this shoot something amazing! With that said I hope the 2nd time around I will make it happen! Sorry to the people that were really excited to see these photographs. But I promise you all, I'll make the wait worth it!

Alice in Wonderland

I can not wait for everyone to see the shoot I have been planning. Five more days til the shoot. I'm nervous, not only cause it's my first real big shoot but I'm working with more than just one person. I'm working with a group of 7 of my good friends. I'm hoping everything goes as planned and I hope all the searching, the stress, and the planning all pays off in the end.
About a month ago I was approached and convinced to do an Alice in Wonderland photshoot. A fashionable and dark photoshoot. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a fan of dark and twisted things. So I took up on the idea and have been working hard to make this shoot in my head come to life. I guess I will find out July 23, 2010.

Your World Through My Eyes

Was there ever a moment, a memory, a dream that was so enduring that you knew it could never be allowed to be forgotten? It is my vision and my dream to make those moments come to life with a single image. An image with such depth that an entire life can be created with only a moments study.

My name is Martin Navejas, I was born and lived my life, up to this point, in Northwest Indiana. It has long been my pleasure to find stories in the hidden most places in life, places that are all too often overlooked, but no less rich. With my camera I can capture your story, big or small, to be shared with all who look.

With any single image a thousand stories can be told. Every gazing eye can behold their own life and their own story. And so I make a promise to you that every image captured a part of your story or even a part of you life can endure forever.

With that said, I hope to soon work with you! And I hope you enjoy and follow my blog.
